Part of my Unbuckled collection, this choker necklace gives beautiful vintage buckles a new life as the focal point of a bold and distinctive design. Each choker is created using a paired of vintage buckles that link together at the front.
The buckles hook together to form the clasp while also acting as the statement centrepiece of the necklace. The buckles have been hand stitch in place on a length of deep red fabric. The choker has a velvety feel to it and is comfortable against the skin.
No two chokers are ever exactly the same. Each pair of buckles has been carefully selected and combined to create a truly unique piece of jewellery.
This is jewellery with a past — reimagined, upcycled, and designed to be worn once again.
