Part of my Unbuckled collection, this choker necklace gives beautiful vintage buckles a new life as the focal point of a bold and distinctive design. Each choker is created using comfortable black elastic, paired with two vintage buckles that link together at the front.
The buckles, often dating from the Art Deco era, hook together to form the clasp while also acting as the statement centrepiece of the necklace. Although the buckles are intentionally non-matching, they complement each other in colour, shape, or texture, creating a design that feels both playful and harmonious.
The soft elastic band makes the choker comfortable to wear, while the front fastening highlights the beauty of the vintage glass buckles and their intricate details.
